1943 Gibson L-7 sunburst

1943 Gibson L-7, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 97838. This guitar is almost 80 years old and as such shows a fair amount of wear. An old rim repair, a fresh refret and modern vintage style tuners make this an incredibly wonderful instrument with heavy wear, but structurally solid and with a sound you need to hear. It has a huge neck profile too. We suspect that the wooden part on the tailpiece is original to this guitar as part of Gibson's wartime builds. It's missing the pickguard and it once had a floating pickup installed. Comes with a modern hardshell case. Weighs only 2.3kg.
