1969 Fender Precision Bass sunburst, faux burst. Made in USA, serial number 237814. This bass was played to hell and back and as such features a bunch of replaced parts: it mounts a Montreux celluloid faux tortoise pickguard, recent electronics (CTS pots, Switchcraft input jack, the body route by the input jack was slightly enlarged as these can be a bit tight) and a Fender USA Vintage bridge with spiral saddles. The pickguard and some of the tuners screws are replacements as well. The pickups are vintage correct with a 1970 date code, but not original to this bass. The original finish one of the so-called faux- or target-bursts with a factory sunburst over olympic white and the natural wear on it looks so cool! The neck has a March '69 date stamp and was just professionally refretted and plays effortlessly. Comes with a black Fender hardshell case. Weighs a hair less than 3.8kg only!
