Ca. late 1990s Jazz Club L Excel, blonde. Made in Japan, serial number 00032. This guitar is all original, but the DeArmond Rhythm Chief pickup and the volume knob may be later additions. It's a super high end D'Angelico Excel replica with an ebony fretboard, two-piece maple neck, solid spruce top with very fine grain and solid flame maple back and side. It's loud, focused, resonant and plays like a dream, it's everything you'd want in a solid archtop. Comes with a gigbag. Weighs 3.25kg.
