L40896. This bass is mostly original, except for an old body refinish and neck overspray, one small screw, the tone cap and the ground wire (hence a few redone solder joints). July '64 neck date, yellow September '64 pickup date stamp and the one legible pot code dates to the 22nd week of '64. The original frets are in fine condition and the bass is as good as you'd expect it to be. Comes with its original, black tolex, no logo hardshell case. Weighs 4kg.
