1964 Fender Jazz Bass, black. Made in USA, serial number L59576. This bass is all original with the exception of one redone solder joint (on the bridge pickup volume pot) and the nut. There is a shadow of a Badass II bridge that was once installed and a previous owner (John Laws) scribbled his name in the neck pocket and underneath the bridge. There are a handful of small dots that were touched up with a pen, this likely was done decades ago when the bass showed the first signs of wear. October '64 neck date, pots are dated to 40th week of '64. Clay dots and green guard. The pickups are undated, grey bottom bridge and black top and grey bottom neck. Insanely rare and just overall (sound, feel etc) gorgeous custom color color Jazz Bass! Comes with the original no logo black tolex Fender hardshell case (very worn) and the original chrome bridge and pickup covers. Weighs 4.25kg.
ON CONSIGNMENT, SOLD AS-IS.
