Ca. 1923 Vega Whyte Laydie 5-String Banjo, natural. Made in USA, serial number 62678. Features the flowerpot inlay on the headstock and the carving on the heel, but the back of the headstock is plain, so we don't really know if it should be a style #2 or #7. It says custom work by Music Man in Warwick, Rhode Island, a well known name in the banjo business, but alas no longer around. Please note that we do not know what kind of work was done, whether it was a restoration or conversion or else. Please only buy this if you know more about banjos than we do and see exactly what you're looking for. We don't have any other info and can't guarantee anything regarding its specs other than that it's in great shape and that you get what you see in the pictures. FWIW, the current bought it 10 years ago for roughly the same price. Comes with a hardshell case. Weighs 4kg.
