Ca. 1955 Teisco Model EP-13, sunburst. Made in Japan. This guitar is all original. We believe this to be a particularly early version as it features some specs not seen on later models such as plastic covers on the tuners (D and G tuners slightly bent and plastic covers cracked, they work fine though), volute on the headstock, MOP 'truss rod' cover (these feature a reinforcing, but not an adjustable rod). Its construction is also quite extraordinary, with a flat, solid and flamed back (one repaired crack) and what looks to be a solid top. The neck profile is among the biggest we've encountered with a whopping 44.5mm / 1.752" nut width (width at 12th fret is 53.8mm / 2.12"). It measures 27.9mm/1.01" and 35mm/1.38" depth at the 1st and 12th fret. 25.5" scale length, 17.3" body (3.35" depth). A crazy cool guitar! Comes with its original and worn hardshell case. Weighs 2.9kg.
