1962 Fender Jazz Bass, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 90261. This bass has a body only refinish (done by Bassart Guitars, aging by MJT), with most of the finish on the neck missing. The side dots were replaced and there are a few extra holes from thumbrests on the body, plus a few non original screws. The bridge pickupis from '68. The neck date is October '62, the pots date to the 37th weeek of '62. Professional refret, outstanding bass in every way. Operates quietly thanks to partial shielding. Comes with the vintage and supposedly original bridge cover and a recent pickup chrome cover. Weighs only 3.85kg.
