1964 Fender Stratocaster, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number L58496. This guitar is mostly original, with the exception of a five-way pickup selector switch (original in case), the pickguard (20+ year old and very good looking replica, perfect color match) and the tremolo arm. It has a December '64 neck date stamp and all pickups and electronics are dated from 1964 as well, except for one pickup which dates to early January 1965, so it's safe to assume this guitar left the factory in earyl 1965. The guitar has many transitional details such as clay side dots and pearloid fretboard dots, logo, single line Kluson tuners etc. It had a single owner from new for most of its life and was well cared for. It was at one point refretted and there was an attempt to touchup some dings in the black portion of the finish on the body. Comes with the period correct black tolex Fender hardshell case. Weighs only 3.35kg.
