Ca. 1966 Ampeg AEB-1, sunburst. Made in USA. This bass is mostly original, except for a few screws and an added strap button. The original tailpiece was replaced with a more practical solution a long time ago (looks like a Mosrite bass bridge), which is why the the serial number was lost as these were engraved on the tailpiece. The pots date to early '64, so earlier '66 rather than '67 production is safe to assume. The bass shows a lot wear, but the frets are in very fine condition. Small seam separation was repaired on the back. The sound this bass produces is insane and it's incredibly versatile. Do not miss out on this one! Comes with a gigbag. Weighs 4.7kg.
