1973 Fender Precision PJ Bass candy apple red

1973 Fender Precision Bass, candy apple red. Serial number 538094. This bass was heavily modified and we actually believe the neck to be from 1971. It's a wonderfully worn A-width (plays easy and fast like a Jazz Bass!) one-piece maple neck. The body was originally sunburst and was professionally refinished to a beautiful candy apple red colour. The pickups were swapped to Basslines and an additional Music Man style pickup was added in the bridge position, making this a killer versatile bass for the stage or the studio - get both vintage and modern sounds at the price of a new Made in Mexico bass! Weighs 4.1kg.
