1980 Fender Stratocaster black

1980 Fender Stratocaster, black. Made in USA, serial number S937816. This guitar is mostly original. The strap buttons and the five-way switch are replacements and the it was once refretted and has a new nut. It once had a humbucker installed in the bridge position (rather crudely chiseled out, but cannot be seen unless you take the pickguard off). The pickguard has the vintage correct S9-prefix serial number sticker, but the number doesn't match so let's assume it's a replacement, as is the later 1980s bridge pickup. The neck on this one has a pronounced bigger profile, making it a pretty cool guitar. Shows wear and tear and it comes with the original black plastic Fender hardshell case. Weighs 4.25kg.
