1983 Fender Precision Bass 54 Reissue sunburst

1983 Fender Precision Bass '54 Reissue, sunburst. Made in Japan. This bass is a very rare early JV series edition with the body contours (model OPB54-75). The body was routed for regular P-Bass pickups and it now mounts a set of ca. mid 1980s MIJ pickups. The bridge, pickguard and electronics were also changed. It has seen a lot of action in its life as evidenced by the wear on the back of the body and the neck. There is visible wear on the frets, but the bass plays nicely. Weighs 4.05kg.
