1984 Fender Stratocaster American Vintage '57 Reissue, candy apple red. Made in USA, serial number V006497. This guitar is most likely the victim of a David Gilmour treatment as it has a non original pickguard assembly featuring later 1980s or 1990s Fender American Vintage Pickups and ca. 2009 plastic and electronics. In our opinion, the hardware, while still Fender American Vintage, is also of a later date and we suspect that the neck plate is from another Fullerton era guitar or bass. The guitar features a fresh professional refret and comes with a later Fender tweed hardshell case. Weighs 3.5kg.
