1986 Fender Stratocaster American Vintage '57 Reissue, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number V013617. This guitar is 100% original including the original Fullerton era tweed Fender hardshell case with the duckfoot tab. It also comes with the original Fullerton CA manual, case keys, tremolo cover, five-way switch, hangtag, cleaning cloth, tremolo spring envelope and strap. This was well taken care of and still retains the protective plastic on both the pickguard and the tremolo back plate. The pots are from the fifth week of '86 and the neck date looks like it's either May or August '86 , making it one of the very earliest Strats made at the then new Corona factory. You have read it all about how only a handful were made in the early days and this guitar here makes us believers - this is one incredible guitar. The neck profile is wonderfully comfortable with nice round shoulders and even the nut is beautifully cut. Weighs 3.55kg.
