2001 Gibson Custom Shop ES-446S, natural. Made in USA, serial number CS11791. This guitar is all original, except for Gibson '57 Classic and '57+ pickups from 2023. Rare model with a solid spruce top with the bracing carved into the top (!!!). Shows some wear and tear, but has excellent frets and a very comfy neck. Comes with its original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case. Weighs only 2.8kg.

The ES-446S body starts with a solid, single slab of mahogany which is routed out, but unlike the ES-346, is fully hollow, rather than semi-hollow, and features a solid, carved Sitka spruce top, much like the classic full size L-5. The ES-446S also features a body with a lower bout size of just 13 3/4 inches, a full 2 3/4 inches smaller than an ES-335, making this guitar perfect for someone who prefers a smaller sized guitar, but get some increased resonance from a fully hollow body and a spruce top.

When you pick up the new hollow-bodied ES-446S, the first thing youll notice is how incredibly light the instrument is. With an average weight of just under 71/2 pounds, the ES-446S can get you through long sets with little or no fatigue. The other thing you'll notice is how great it sounds. The contoured spruce top features f-holes and braces that are carved into the top not glued. This makes for an instrument with marvelous tone and remarkable resonance. Finally, the ES-446S is topped off with a graceful Florentine cutaway and traditional-style head stock giving it a strikingly classic look.
